Berlingo So Good?
#1
Just wondering really that the new berlingo came out in 2008 and they continued to make the old shape (MK2) up until 2011 why was that seems a very rare thing to happen with manufacturers.

Clearly they had some Mk.2 bodyshells left so they used them making the cheap basic van. (Berlingo First)
Owning a Mk.2 and having driven a Mk.3 I would say that AFAIC I much prefer the old shape!
The Older I get the Better I Was!  Cool

Its not unusual for manufacturers to do this. The old shape Berlingo is still being made in Argentina. here Citroen also sold the old Picasso along with the C4 Picasso for a while. Many Large car makers do this, for example the old shape Fiesta is still made in India & possibly still the 1950s shape Morris Oxford. The old aircooled VW Beetle was made in Mexico until just a few yrs ago. I recall Ford produced both Escort & Focus for the UK market for a couple of yrs in the late 90s.
