My o4 berling tank , has a bit of play in the steering wheel it's 100% on the top of the rack and the spleen at top I assume a nut hold wheel onto rack , how do I get the clips off the back of the steering wheel , I could just rag them off as it's my battered old reliable work bus
But I would like it meet and tidy
Any advice appreciate thx kindly

If you are talking about removing the airbag first disconnect the battery first and wait ten minutes. Then remove the shroud around the column then you will see/feel 3 holes in the back of the wheel. You need a flat bladed screwdriver to put in the hole and you will feel a spring, you need to gently flick the spring while easing the airbag up and it will release. Work around each spring until the airbag comes off but be careful not to damage the ribbon cable. It sounds fiddly but once its off it will make sense, there are photos on the forum showing you and in the Haynes manual.
Are we there yet?????
