Hi,
I see similarities !!
I was a very happy Skoda Octavia owner for over 7 years, no problems during it's ownership, it was likely to have done another 7 years, but I fancied a change (as we do).
Children left home many years ago, only the two of us, so I started dreaming about having a 'sporting' motor.
Very happy with the VW brand, so I was considering a VW scirocco, an Audi TT or convertible perhaps.
I had some test drives, but couldn't decide what I really wanted.
My wife has a car and I was getting fed up of reading car reviews, so I thought, I'll buy a van!
Looking for a van I knew it had to be a Berlingo (I had a small business before retiring, and used Berlingo vans).
A reasonable van plus vat ended up close on £8K, so looked for a multi space for similar money.
Managed to find an '11' reg, 10,000 mile XTR for the same money!
That's how I navigated from Skoda to Citroen Berlingo, and so far I'm delighted with my purchase.
