Gearbox issues after a long drive

So after driving the van for, say, a few hours, sometimes getting the gear out of 1 to 2 is really stiff. But when driving it from cold, it's perfectly ok. Anyone have any clue to what may be happening?

Gear box oil low,?

Check the linkage rod ends on the gearbox are lubricated and not dry.

sounds like the gearbox oil is low or needs replacing
