My local Peugeot dealer is far better at customer service than the Citroen one and is an opinion formed over many years though this is likely to be a local thing. Unless you wanted to buy a new car then Citroen didn't want to know you and you were an inconvenience to them.
For me the Citroen dealer seemed to be running around disorganised and overly busy as if they were two men down and the Peugeot dealer experience was like going into a decent motor factors - speedy knowledgable and helpful. Most definitley not the fly that has just landed on your cream cake !
I have noted also that over the years when running a C15 that spares sourced for it from the Peugeot dealer were cheaper than the Citroen dealer. I cannot comment on the Berlingo / Partner yet as I've not bought spares from the dealer yet.

Thanks, got totally disgusted by Citroen UKs attitude towards warranty issues and their reply when asked about dealers charging to check possible warranty repairs. Would miss the enormous boot space and comfort, so may check out Pug for taxi use, plus you can get a 5 yr warranty from a Taxi Supplier.

The outfit I dealt with previously for my C15 and MK2 had the both franchises .

It speaks volumes that I chose another for my MK3's....
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top

I think, like anything else, it'll vary. For instance, used to have Fords, and within 10 miles of my house there is an outstanding dealer and an abysmal one. For what it's worth, the Pug dealer near me has an excellent reputation, but they've been there the best part of 80 years...

I have had a few new cars over the years diahatsu , Vauxhall , ford , skoda , Citroen , Peugeot and none of them are helpful once they have your money ! I get the best deal I can and never go back ! I have a new Honda jazz which I service myself and the local garage stamps my service book for a fiver !

Been to a few different showrooms, owned by same main dealer, although they have been franchised to different car marques. There were indeed variations in how they dealt with my car queries, dependant on which manufacturer they represented on that site. Best service I got was from Skoda and a couple of Fiat franchised dealerships.
