Red light on dash
#1
Hi all,
have a 2001 1.9D berlingo. A red light has started appearing on the dash albeit intermittantly. It looks like a saucepan lid with a wavy line under it. Thought it could be the brake fluid level, but that is ok. Haven't got the hand book and can't find either a handbook download or any reference to this online.
What is it?

Cheers,
Trevor

Indeed it is. Finally got through to a mechanic at citroen.....after lots of persuading that I was not going to "bring it in" just to find out something that is is the handbook!.......not easy to get past reception!
Level ok though, probably the sensor.

I too have the 2002 1.9 diesel multispace. That light comes up on mine. Is it the coolant temp sensor?

Indeed it is, probably a dodgy sensor or low coolant
