Hi all.
I have a 53 model Berlingo MPV that does not have roof rails (not sure if they are called that but they are usually black plastic coated rails that run front to back, parallel on the roof and you fit roof bars onto them). On the roof of the car there are three clamps built onto the roof each side that I assume would connect roof rails but I don't know for sure.
Essentially, I am looking to retrofit some roof rails onto the roof so that I can use a top box when I go away for weekends. I need to know if I can fit roof rails via these clamps and, if so, how?
I also need to know if there are model variations that will simply not fit.
It is my plan to scour scrapyards and try to find a scrapped Berlingo with roof rails to use as a donor.
Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated.
