How much oil ?

Exactly,and reducing the change intervals by half gives further protection from build up of polutants,given that dpf engines all but pump their exhaust through the oil.
My engine oil was black as the ace after just 30 miles on a brand new engine -god alone knows what it would have been like at 12k.I get it changed at 6000.
Theres too little oil working way too hard to take any chances.

I have to say the thought of running flushing oil through such a finicky engine scares me somewhat
Disturbing the the nasties then pumping them through the areas youre were actually trying to protect ,with an incorrect grade product-eeek
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top

I agree with Evdama.If the oil is changed frequently,there is no need to flush.If,however,the oil change history is unknown,Forte flush,used as directed,is good stuff.Just let it drain overnight.:thumbsup:Confusedalut:
