48 psi is alot...!

No wonder it's a hard ride!

There are normally two levels, normal and fully loaded. Normal is usually 30 to 35 psi or thereabouts.

48psi!!! No wonder it's bouncy!
34 all round for light load and a couple of pounds extra in the rear when loaded. My door/ A pillar sticker says 2.3 bar all round for light loads....I have a 1.6 tdi on 15" rims but the difference will be only a little.

Mine says 2.7 Bar Front =39 psi
3.3.Bar Rear = 48 psi
Same pressures for loaded as unloaded doesnt make sense?

I suppose if your van is an 800 on 14" tyres the difference is because of the sidewalls being taller than on a 15" tyre.

When I had 14's on my 2.0 hdi 800 van I ran it at 36 psi.

On 15's it's at 36 psi.

48? Yoikes!

I run with 35psi front and 33psi rear when empty, 35 if loaded.
The sticker states same figures loaded and empty, which seems strange.Confusedcratch:
