We've got a (I think) Mk 1 Berlingo. It's got a slow puncture or two, and so we're looking at tyres. From what I have read in the instruction book, it's supposed to have 175's all around, but looking at our van, it's got 165's! Should we look to replace them all with the bigger tyres? Does it make much difference?
Any help would be grand!

There should be a sticker near the driver's door hinges. Our Mk1 has 175/70/14s.

Okay, can you think of any reason why someone would have put on 165's? We only got the van a little while ago...

The tyre width doesn't matter, it can be anything you want it to be based on what fits over 6j roughly etc. And no you won't feel any difference between 165 and 175. It's not enough width to notice anything

Excellent, thanks very much! I presume tyres on the same axle have to be the same size, though...
