As far as I am aware no-one here has removed the entire door to
replace the pin. I believe that the lock assembly may be removable
through the edge of the door. Some one will come along and confirm this
I'm sure.

Hi everyone,
I too have broken pin symptoms (off side sliding door 2006 MPV 1.6 16v model). My problem is I cannot get the door trim off. I have removed all the plastic clips successfully with the door still on. The Haynes manual shows 2 screws just below the window which also need to be removed. My model has a cloth trim sub panel which is not shown in the Haynes photo, covering the area of these screws. I can see no way of lifting this cloth trim to access the supposed screws!
Door opening is an MOT failure these days so can anyone help me in getting the trim off!?
