Hi
ive decided to refurb my alternator as its knackered.
i dont want to take it out to find out which regulator i need and was hoping someone would point me in the right direction.
ive put my registration into aceparts.com but theres a few different ones.

The reason you get a few different parts there is because Citroën used a few different alternators in the same model car.
It's common to do this so that they don't have to rely on one supplier.
What is the symptoms?
The usual problem tends to be worn brushes or bearings.

Last time I did the same I drove to a local autosparks lifted the bonnet and said I want a diode pack for one of these.
The chap just went and got one off the shelf.
Brushes / diodes / regulator will be a one piece unit and are easy to fit.

Jayjaybee,
You should really check the charging rate before you change the alternator or parts of, just to make sure the battery is good.
