hi there, i have an 1999 berlingo freezer van that has a few noises . The first is a whine which increases in pitch as the revs increase, sounds like its coming from the alternator area? Secondly the tensioner seems to move a bit with increased revs is this normal? Many thanks.

Take WD40 , spray little at the suspect area. If the noise change you have found the problem. Report back so we can provide the solution.
Please do not spray a lot !
