Hey guys, having my BSI inspected at the moment by BBA Reman, they have told me it is repairable but I will need to get is recoded for it to work in my van. Will this be a main dealer job?

Probably they will "virginize" the BSI . After that you can set it up/program with Lexia but you will need PIN code for car "keys" (a.k.a immo)
If you don't have PIN code then you can: disable pin code or buy one from ebay  or go to main dealer.

Ahh right OK looks like it's going to be a main dealer job, this problem is getting more expensive by the minute!
You could get a specialist to recode your BSI, this would still need to be done if you purchased a new one anyway. Expect to pay around £50/£60 for this
Ahh right OK shame your so far from me, im currently looking for someone mobile to come out to me as van will not start.
Last time I had one done it had to be done at the dealers as the data is downloaded from PSA direct, otherwise it would defeat all the security etc: (imobiliser)
Cost in the region of £165 (extra £10 if you don't have the key code)
