Hi all

Just wanted to know if there's some secret place that I can't find that can supply the footwell bonnet release lever as the plastic one snapped on our 08 a while ago?

I also need the other plastic bonnet release leaver under the bonnet in the engine bay which also snapped but drawing a blank trying to find these online?

Might also need to sort out suspension strut bearings but can see them at Euro Car Parts etc.

The one under the bonnet I believe you have to buy the complete catch mechanism (some 30 odd quid). Don't know about the internal one.

I went to local scrapyard to see what they had as ebay was no good either but in the end the local Citroen garage are ordering them both in for me at about £20 each parts only which I'm happy with compared to the £165 they quoted me in the same garage when I had it in on their current full service offer. The one under the bonnet does indeed come with the full metal latch apparently.

Parts like this are usually main dealer only. Only other choise is S/H.

Or buy some of this http://www.berlingoforum.co.uk/thread-12351.html and mould your own for the under bonnet one.
Its plenty strong enough for that and the original one is just plastic that clips on to the mechanism

I would be worried that underbonnet heat would soften it.
Be a bit of a pain if you had to wait for engine to go cold before you could open bonnet.
