couple of months back my clutch helper spring came off and my clutch pedal depressed slightly but could still operate

but the problem now is that last nyt my clutch hit the floor with no resistance and i could not engage the clutch

so today I have removed clutch cable but it is still intact with the nylon clip in the foot well still attached

does anybody have any ideas what the problem is ?

could the incident with the helper spring be the problem ?

Hi,
I believe these have a automatic tensioner cable and they fail very often, it could be that? its like a ratchet mechanism that fails. Mine did.

Replace clutch cable.
