The bonnet release cable on my berlingo has given up.can anyone advise on how to open bonnet please.i have pulled the cable to stretching point and it still wont open.

You could try the old D2 trick of getting someone to push down on the bonnet whilst trying to open it.
Hopefully the 2 attached photos will help. Access from underneath our 1.4 is good.

Which mark is your Berlingo?

I had this problem on a Picasso and managed to drill a discreet hole in the bend of the upper chevron on the front grille. This allowed for a screwdriver to be poked through to lever the cable attachment point to the open position.

I'm not near my Berlingo now, but will see if this can be done later
