Hi
I found another problem on my car.
Left front wheel has a play in/out of about 1mm.
Is this the wheel bearing? There is no noise, but there is a pulsation when braking.
I have bought new discs and wheel bearing.
Does anyone have intructions for changing wheel bearing? What torque is correct for the 36mm bolt?

Hi jana
the pulsation when braking could be a twisted front disc , if you are changing the bearings fit the new disc. You will probally need a hydraulic press to press out the worn bearings and to fit the new ones.
Suggest you change the discs first then check for wear on the bearings , if they are really worn you will get a whineing/rumbling noise especially when cornering. If there is 1mm. play with the wheel on I would leave it alone but keep an eye on it or an ear on it.! It could also be a slight bit of wear on the steering track rod ends giving it movement
best of luck

You will get the brakes pulsating if the ABS is kicking in -damaged sensors etc?

I don't have access to an hydraulic press so i guess i will start with changing the brakes.
I forgot to say that there were no play in the other front wheel.
Is 1mm play acceptable?

Thanks for all your help so far!
It is a horizontal movement.
Is the lower ball joint easy to change?
