17" alloys what colour???
#1
Hi guys,
Just bought some 17" for the berlingo Team Dynamics multispokes, there rough to say the least but i'm planning on getting them powder coated anyway
£40 well spent i think! Cool

so the question is what colour do you think i should go for?
i really want the van to stand out for work purposes!

been thinking along the lines or orange, green, purple or blue.
off to powder coat them this afternoon/evening so i need to make a decision really quickly!

I still like the look of a nice, well looked after bright silver on any colour vehicle, but black or graphite seems to be in trend at the moment on white vehicles.

Unfortunately I'm not a big lover of bright coloured wheels...:S

Depends what you do for a living I suppose.

I work in motorsport tuning, so the van will get about a bit so really want something different to make it stand out in a crowd rather than just blending in with the normal black, grey or silver.
thats my main reason for thinking bright coloured wheels.
i suppose its going to be a case of looking at the sample colours when i go down this after noon.

British racing Green would look in keeping with a motor sport theme

Any colour will work with white TBH,I like a lairy wheel colour, had red and orange wheels on some of my old cars and have blue one on the van, I'd link pics but can't on the phone.

Have you considered white ? With maybe contrasting callipers and drums ?
Just a thought ! Otherwise just be bold and be prepared to bite the bullet as bright green or orange will be marmite ! You can't please everyone
Good luck , fingers crossed you like em yourself lol:whistle:

thanks for the imput guys,

i actually thought about different colours all round, my mate who does my powder coating has all four wheels different colours on his van and it certainly grabs attention!

I thought about green myself thought it would go well with the white.

I've actually picked a colour now, and the wheels are coated. we did them this afternoon they're in the oven and will be ready tomorrow, i'll add some photos when i've got them on tomorrow afternoon, I'll warn you now some may be offended by the colour choice!

funny you should mention about the calipers and drums,
i think with the 17" alloys i'm going to need some bigger brakes to fill the rims out.

thinking GTi-6 calipers and disks 280mm i believe? i should imagine they would fit straight on with no problems.

or maybe keep my eye out for some brembo 4 pots

honest love i'm not going to go silly with the van :whistle::whistle:
just can't help myself
