:wave:Hi everyone, Garage changed the fuel primer housing and run the car, when I picked it up it started first flick of the key, engine hot drove home then drove 40 miles at about 70 mph.
5 AM NEXT MORNING, would it start like hell it would, kept it turning over whilst putting my foot on the gas and eventually it started with a big cloud of smoke, white and made a racket for about 5 seconds then ran ok, so got to work ok.
2 hours later tried to start and the same but no smoke this time.
Guy from the garage came out and adjusted the cold start cable.
Next morning the same.
Fortunately my mate who is a mechanic at a farm got some time off work and had a look for me today, tested feed to glo plugs ok, tested all the glo plugs, all duff , so he tested them again after removing them , all duff, he got new ones in half an hour and fitted them also he found a split vac pipe so repaired this and assembled all the parts back together, it started first flick after the light went out this was after we had coffee an all about 3 hours.
Will let you all know what its like at 5 am Sun morn.
Thanks everyone for all the reply's and valued input.
Cheers Mick
