On my 1.4 it's down under the oil filter held on by 1 T screw. But there are different types.

Its mounted on the clutch housing, its easier to remove the battery to get at the sensor .

i have changed the crankcase sensor,but still no go,it was running ok till i changed the crankcase pulley
anybody any ideas please

Do you mean the pulley that drives the alternator / power steering or is it one for the cam. belt? :thumbsup:
2006 2.0hdi 600 with bench seat.
