Won't start HELP!!
#1
Hi guys, hopefully one of you can help again, just went out to my 2005 1.9d and it won't start. As soon as the ignition is on the dash illumination lights come on along with the sidelights. The radio display thing is showing nothing, the remote locking does nothing, it's all just gone mad. It turns over fine but will not fire up. I went out in it this morning! Done bsi reset to the letter 4 times and has made no difference!!! :brickwall:
Any ideas guys??

Well that was easy in the end! Small 20a mini-fuse near the bsi had popped. I replaced it an boom! Back to normal! I can't believe a blown fuse could cause so much bizarre activity, everything in the van either didn't work at all or was on when it shouldn't have been!! French motors are mad, all's well that ends well I guess, I was getting ready for a wallet raping then.....:woop:

Keep a supply of fuses in the van just in case, fuses don't usually blow for no reason.
