Evening campers
#1
After lurking for a while, I thought I should say 'hello'. I've owned my 2007 1.9D Berlingo van since May of last year mainly using it for work, some surfing/bodyboarding duties with the big trip planned for November this year; through France, down through Spain and spending the winter out there until April, before making our way back through Spain and France again.

The van copes really well with everything I've thrown at it so far, and apart from being slow & noisy, I expect it's going to be pretty solid for the trip too.

Stealth camping will be the weapon of choice for our eurotrip and I'll be going down the homebrew route for making a bed and storage (lots of tips on here and smallmotorhome.co.uk Smile )

I'll get some pics up when the work starts. Need to get the rear torsion bar bearings sorted first as well as a few other niggles but no major dramas

If anyone's done any eurotrips of a similar naturCoole I'd love to hear from you

Do a search for Seaman a member that travelled around the continent with wife and Berlingo, but he has not been on here since May of 2014. He posted a link to a web site that hosted some videos taken during his travels

Thanks for the info Trevor; just read the thread and added their site as a favourite Smile

I expect our trip will be a bit different to that in some respects but hopefully it will be as enjoyable as theirs......time will tell!
