CD won't play
#1
2014 VTR

I don't know what I have done wrong, but the radio / CD player won't play CDs.

When I press "Source" it shows the CD player for a few seconds, and even if I press "OK", it goes back to radio stations.

There's a CD in the slot, and it comes out & goes in OK, but I can't get it to play. The radio itself works fine.

I'm sure it's something simple, but the handbook section on radios is very complicated.

What do I do to get it working? Anything beyond pressing buttons is beyond me, but I thought I'd ask on the forum to save me taking it back to the dealer under warranty.

I can't say but if you've got a warranty on the car why not use it that's what it's for hope you get it sorted

Does it do that for both original and 'copy' CDs?

Hi everyone. Thanks for all your replies. Very embarrassing; as usual it was my fault.  I just wasn't pressing the source button at the right time.  I was trying to change from radio to CD before switching the radio on, which is what I used to do in one of my previous cars.  All working fine now.  Thanks.
