It will cost unfortunately. Unless there is different, more powerful remap, you are going to be in for component swapping, like 4 branch header, big intercooler, hybrid turbo, bigger injectors etc:

Easy. Sell it and buy a normal car. They're always loads faster

Drive it off a cliff - no seriously if its been remapped we need to stop at that or it will get very expensive.

Tree ,why would I want to sell it lol it's perfect for me for work as I'm self employed , I don't want a van but need a car type of vehicle plus the 5 seats an loads of space for work materials etc roof rack on top for ladders , then there's the looks of it mines is currently looking really nice with my window limo tinted an my nice shiny 18" low profile wheels , It's currently sitting at 120bhp , I'd like it to be close to the car I had over winter as work slowed up , which was a 1.9 tdi bora sport , lovely car she was and 150bhp standard !!! Berlingo could easily get close to that type of power givin the rite parts went into it , and that's why I'm asking , so thanks tree thanks for your niceness

Seriously you are trying to make a berlingo fast? It's got the aerodynamics of a House brick. As you've said, you had a Bora which as a car not a van derived car like a berlingo, has aerodynamics going for it already.

The 2.0 hid engine came in many different guises - the 308 engine was 136bhp out of the box but you want to do it on the cheap - never going to happen without changing the turbo, bigger intercooler, up rated fuel pump the list goes on.

So I'll go back to what I originally suggested. Sell the berlingo and buy a car. That is by far the cheapest way you will achieve your goal.
