Injector OEM Part Number - pitpan - 19-07-2014

Hi all,

How can I get the oem part number of my injectors when they are in the cylinder head. I can not see any numbers on them so need to know which ones I require if I change them.

Ebay throws up a few for a reasonable price, 22 quid being the cheapest I have found but are these cheap ones any good and will they be compatible with my car.

the part number quoted on ebay is 1984e0. is this correct for a October 2002 1.4i MFKFX M49 vehicle.

cheers

pitpan

Sagem or Weber?

Webers are IW155

(There's a good picture of it on this page)
Any text on the injectors are on the side of the eletrical connector, so it should be possible to read it without removing it from the engine, by unplugging the connector and doing some contortions, and possibly a camera...

A refurb kit(seals and filters) are just over £10 + shipping.

I linked to the first page just for the picture.
If you have the Weber's it should be possible to read IW155 on the side of the connector on the one nearest the clutch.

The TU3JP engine has been produced with several injector models, and they are NOT all interchangeable.
(They require different seating holes in the cylinder head)

Ok thanks gadgetman

I purchased the ones from Emporium on eBay the spec says they are for a 1.4i MF KFX engine which is my model

Are they easy to remove or do I require a injector removal tool and if so is there a special kind or just a screw down pull up type puller
