Single layer brick with a load of heating pipes and cables! Planning on studding it out with 2x4's first to provide a level frame to fix to. 18 has a lot more strength over a 4' span when loaded with the s**t I've got in that garage. Plus 12mm tends to split when use a nail gun on it if you shoot like you piss.
