Hi all
First post. Picked up a Peugeot Partner Tepee (hope that's not deleted by the swear filter
) yesterday to replace our Mazda Bongo.Realised that the zenith (modutop) rear roof storage unit was preventing me from putting whole bikes in it (one of the reasons for choosing the Partner).
Does anyone know how to remove it?
I've looked and fiddled with it from every direction but nothing obvious stands out!

Yes. Thanks very much for the diagram.
That makes it look like I have to remove '2' from the side of the van (difficult to work out how it's attached but at least I'll probably only need to remove one of them) and then the hinge bar will lift out fairly easily.
The tricky part is working out how '2' is clipped to '3' so that I pull/ease/bend in the right directions. There's no obvious fasteners there.

Thanks again for the diagram, it really helped get rid of that nagging feeling I'd missed something simple.
In the end the cover (2) pulls out by pulling it down away from the roof. It went back on cleanly too.
Storage box now in the loft where it will probably stay for as long as we own the vehicle (shame as it would have swallowed up all the kid's gear nicely).

ok so how did you take it off, pulling what bit in what direction? I have tried for similar reasons but been afraid to remove it for fear of breaking it.

In that diagram, part #2 comes off downwards. So kind of like sliding it down the wall. The only slight thing to watch for is that the plastic tabs don't snag your fabric as you drag it down. I pulled it slightly outwards (away from the wall) at the same time.
I did it by opening the small hatch and putting my fingers inside to pull it down.
Just do one side. As soon as the part#2 is off, it is obvious what happens. The hinge bar pushes towards the back of the vehicle and just comes out. Then as soon as it's on a diagonal, the other side comes out.
BTW - I found it easier to undo the string supports and drop the box downwards before doing all this.

thats great thanks, would you say it was an easy job to do on a regular basis, ie I am thinking of transporting my motherinlaw [91] in a wheelchair in back so dont want it in when i do that..but want it back for my use.

Hard to say for 100%. It's only a push-fit cover, so I guess eventually you can expect the crisp edges to round and the plastic to fatigue a little, leading to sloppiness.
The fact that it comes away by pulling and not by releasing a catch means that it's probably not meant for repeated removal.
However, I'd certainly feel comfortable doing it a few times.
