Steering wheel - Jelevents - 10-08-2016 Hi guys picking up my 2009 XTR tomorrow and previous owner was prone to picking the steering wheel whilst sitting in traffic. So I'm left with a wheel looking like mice have had a little nibble. Would quite like to change but finding it hard to locate 2nd hand, so it's looking like a wheel cover, has anybody used the slip on type, can't be arsed to spend hours sewing the leather job? Thanks in advance RE: Steering wheel - Johny555 - 10-08-2016 Got one on mine bit tight to fit buts its OK,also makes the wheel feel bit fatter, gives more grip to, RE: Steering wheel - Jelevents - 10-08-2016 (10-08-2016, 07:40 PM)Johny555 Wrote: Got one on mine bit tight to fit buts its OK,also makes the wheel feel bit fatter, gives more grip to, Hi seen one in Halfords slip on is that where you got yours? The one I have in the Pug is really tight. It was hard work to fit in, I almost had to get these bicycle tire fitting tools to get it on the steering wheel. It has some leather, so it is more comfortable to the touch, and yes, the wheel is now very thick.
