fault codes - ashtonneil - 30-12-2011 hello guys do any of you out there know about fault codes? my 2004 pride and joy is showing a P1153 fault, this says, Bank 2 Fuel control shifted lean. MM6LP - Throttle stop learning. Malfunction. can anybody explain what this means? many thanks RE: fault codes - Ol'Jeffers - 30-12-2011 Has your car had a flat battery and been jump started? There is a discussion here that may throw some light on your problem: http://www.kelsey-forums.co.uk/cgi-bin/cmm/YaBB.pl?num=1278758838 The 1153 fault code may refer to either of the O2 ( Lambda sensors ) or the exhaust may partially blocked. The bit I don't particularly like the sound of is the MM6LP code which I think refers to the ECU ( Magneti Marelli 6LP ). They can be totalled by jump starting without recourse to the correct procedure. No! I'm not a vehicle electronics expert! All I did was to enter "P1153 fault, this says, Bank 2 Fuel control shifted lean. MM6LP - Throttle stop learning. Malfunction." into Google search and sift through the information there. tudy: |
