Heater fan drain - jericlin - 28-10-2012 Hi:wave: Just replaced fan speed controller, bought brand new unit on ebay £27.75 all in from neatcarparts. Saved messing about with removal, then repair, then replace ! Forum leads were great as Haynes not so good on this. Found a pipe floating around behind felt trim, turns out it is a water drain from the fan motor housing and the the connector had been snapped off. ( Previous owner had work done in this area as one motor screw, and one housing hex screw were missing ! cratch: ) Anyone have a part number or diy solution for reconnecting this pipe ? cheersalut: Jericlin RE: Heater fan drain - Rustscrat - 29-10-2012 Hi, can you identify what you want on this? [Image: 2hmmvl2.jpg] RE: Heater fan drain - jericlin - 29-10-2012 Hi Rusticrat Thanks for response :woop: Its not shown as a separate item but it connects 9 ( or 6 ) to the fan motor plastic housing.. looks like lateral thinking job !!! cheers alut: Jericlin |
