Doesn't Clarkson look young there ..... and the price of diesel £ 0.43 per litre WOW !!!!

RE: Diesel cars 1991 - philip - 10-03-2013

Unreal the price of diesel eh?

RE: Diesel cars 1991 - taxi - 10-03-2013

At least we can laugh at Clarkson......nothing funny about increased price of fuel.
......and Top Gear was a lot better with information etc back then, and was less focused on exploding caravans and other so-called entertainment.

But it also starred William Woollard - the most virilant anti-motorcycle biggot (IN THE WORLD!)

Misguided fool,( him, not you   ) But Clarkson has picked up that baton BIG STYLE. :brickwall:

RE: Diesel cars 1991 - evdama - 10-03-2013

He's an arrogant 'sole,Hammond tries to be cute (although I'll let him off as he's a local and was really civil when he signed an autograph for my lad while he was doing his shopping.
May is a decent sort though.
The Top Gear Specials are worth a look especially the Vietnam one.

Top Gear or Fifth Gear ?
FIGHT .
Or Better Call Saul to let him make a decision  Wink

Thing is on TV they're all exagerated versions of themselves. Best not to think of TG as serious motoring programme, just light entertainment with cars. And its still better than most other crap on a sundays night Smile

I must say Top Gear was more informative in the 80`s and 90`s.
