2002 2.0 Hdi My speedo has started swinging randomly and today alongside that as I pulled away in 1st/2nd the pull away was jerky and the jerks co inside with the speedo swinging 0-30mph it appeared ok in higher gears (though the speedo was still twitching like a wino at a tasting) At one point the speedo was swinging 0-10mph when standing still, accompanied by the warning beep no warning light or stop light though
1. What drives the speedo on these models? crank or gearbox sensor and could it require cleaning
2. Could this be related to an intermittant high temp warning and flashing stop ( coolant OK not boiling up no fan cut in) which clears in 10-20 seconds.
