15'' Tyre sizes.. rubbing.. - kens_soup - 09-09-2013

My 2002 berlingo came with xsara vtr alloys and new 195/65/15'' tyres fitted, they rub the inner plastic arch trim on mine (lowering didnt help).
i'm planning to fit some picasso 15'' steels this week, has anyone ran 185/55/15s at all and do they clear? Trying to avoid spacers really!

Same rim width and ET?

If the OP is talking about rubbing on the rear (cue Ron) then it's probably a beam issue.

Beam seems ok, stripped and reset the torsion bar and there was no play in the bearings, no idea on et!

You'll need spacers with 195/65/15. I run 185/65/15 without spacers they JUST clear the rear inner plastic arch.

I run 195/50/15 and no problems!
