Speed limiter - Masih - 29-03-2014 Hi Wondering if anyone can help Can planet or lexia detect if my berlingo has a speed limiter and can it be disabled using these diagnostic equipment? RE: Speed limiter - ntm1275 - 29-03-2014 To tell in you have the speed limiter functionality on your car is to look if you have an extra stalk on the steering column which controls it It will be in the same position as the radio/CD control stalk but on the other side of the column under neath the stalk for the lights The stalk also controls cruise control Looks like this - this may be the wrong picture as I've just noticed that you have a Mk2 [Image: $T2eC16NHJHEE9ny2qS9TBRITCDRw!!~~60_35.JPG] From what I found using a Lexia and Diagbox while looking for Cruise Control over the last few days in the BSI section is that there is an option for (1)Inactive, (2)Cruise Control and (3)Cruise Control with Speed Limiter From that I would assume you could set it to only Cruise Control and so the Speed Limiter would be diabled RE: Speed limiter - Gadgetman - 29-03-2014 If you have a 1.4i, or possibly the 1.9 (DW8?) Diesel, then the answer is that 'no, your car doesn't have a limiter, it just FEELS like it'... :-) Re: RE: Speed limiter - adam3rdcanvey - 30-03-2014 (29-03-2014, 10:16 PM)Gadgetman Wrote: If you have a 1.4i, or possibly the 1.9 (DW8?)
