I suspect they are moulded into the bumper and made at the same time so not removable as they are factory fitted... look on service box and see if you can buy them separate, or even ring a dealer part...

Dab is nothing to do with car play, are all the apps upto date? Is the phone on the latest version of software? It maybe that the update wasn’t so good for car play users... it’s not unknown for Apple...
