Egr cleaner?
#1
Hello all. After a previous post decided to give the egr a clean. I have a 09 berlingo van hdi 1.6 90hp. Where do I spray the cleaner into? Could anyone send me a link to a guide or have a picture of which pipe I spray into?

Thanks in advance

I have never done this but reading others posts I think they remove the EGR from the engine first? Do a search for EGR that should turn something up for you.

If you have bought cleaner without removing the EGR :

I would remove the EGR and clean it:

Yes, he removed the air filter and spray directly in intake pipe.
I don't know if you have MAF sensor. If yes than you have to spray after MAF.

Yes.

But I would do it this way. I don't know what stuff is EGR cleaner and I would be
spraying it after turbo. Maybe the cleaner would damage the turbo if you spray it before.
The best thing is to remove the EGR and clean. But you insist in cleaning it without removing!
Here is the pic that explains everything.

Where is running into if I spray after the turbo? Considering taking it off to clean. Just wanted to see if the spray will make a difference.

Thanks

That is "inter cooler".
And maybe it will be better to spray after it.

So here is the pic of where to spray   Wink

Thanks. I've sprayed the cleaner and ran the car for 10k and it feels so much better on the throttle. Anti pollution warning light went out also. I'll give it a few weeks and report back.

Thanks for your help brajomobil
