Defected to the dark side
#1
Dear  loyal and fellow birlingo drivers and happy owners.

i have committed a sin most dreadfull.

Atfer having three old trusty under powered birlingos...
I defected to a vauxhall combo..I loved her at  first as  she was a goodn

And  then  came the price  for  wearing a vauxhall  badge of a 1.3CDTI     07 plate

EGV Valve
New turbo
New front suspension
Inlet manifold
Engine management lights enjoy coming on cos  it costs money to have them on a laptop to find a code e.t.c

my pockets a  grand lighter ....leason learned  ehh
And to  be  honest a lot of my  neighbours have birlingos
So  i am hoping to  back  in the  seat of  a  hopefully 2.0 birlingo shortly.
Wish  me luck.

O dear, for some reason Vauxhall haven't made a decent diesel engine for a while. The best Vauxhall's have someone else's diesel engine!

All the best on finding a decent van - dont be put off by the 1.6hdi - most of the bad press seems to have stuck yet many are about with 200k on them and going strong.

Yes i do own a 1.6hdi lol
