Modutop small leak in roof
#1
My 12 year old bingo has developed a small leak.

I getting a little bit of water going into the interior light casing and I am guessing that it's coming in from the main rubber seal above it.

My plan is clean under the seal and put some silicone under and let it go off so the seal won't let rain water under it.

Is there any suggested alternative or previous fix that is a better option?

Check the Aerial first, I clipped mine on one of those height barrier jobbies on a muti story and turned it all of 3 degrees!

Interesting!

You may have a point as that would make more sense as it's not wet further towards the seal.

I whack my aerial on a regular basis!

I will see if it's wonky.

Many thanks.

My aerial wasn't straight so I moved it back. I will see what happens now when it next rains!

Hi

Had the same, water in light, aerial had been moved, eventually got new base, no need to buy whole thing as whip was fine, think it was about £7 from main dealer, sealed base down with clear silicone (just to be sure).
Use child with small fingers to put nut back on then swivel head ratchet spanner 8mm i think,

not leaking so far!

good luck!

It's not rained in since I realigned it so looks like it's sorted which is great!
