2004 1.6 petrol Berlingo radio problem

2004  1.6 petrol berlingo. I have a problem with the volume on the radio where it keeps turning itself up to maximum by itself. Any ideas? could it be a faulty sticking button or could it be  a programming issue?

its where i would start take the cowling off the steering column and disconnect the the wires to the switch on the right,By the way it doesnt just get louder the faster you go ?

No, it gets louder all even when i'm not moving, it does seem like a faulty button but not too sure.
