I would go for a genuine water pump as the aftermarket ones are poor quality.
SKF timing belt kit have everything genuine in them & they do a lot with the water pump in as well.
One tip whilst doing the job is DO NOT , turn the engine anti clockwise if you miss the timing marks, not even a tiny bit, as the chain can jump & you will nigh on wreck the engine. I know as I have done it!

Thanks for the advice! The Gates kit is already ordered nonetheless so I'll have to go with that one.

Thanks for the links Smile

2 follow up questions:
- Does anyone perhaps have the number of a good accessory belt kit? No aircon and built in 2006, so the 1355mm belt if I'm not mistaken.
- Regarding the coolant, any tips on draining the old coolant (Is there a plug in the block also?) and on venting the air out after the refill?

Different model but same engine, torque settings if not exactly the same will be close enough.
