So as I drove over a hump backed bridge on a country road, some numpty forgot which side of the road he was supposed to be on. He was going too fast, caught my wing mirror & smacked it into the window with an almighty thwack!
He sped off & I had no room to turn around & chase him (which of course I would never do anyway)
There's no way I could afford a new one. I retrieved the back of the unit but it is smashed. The glass is still in but smashed & splintered. I'm going to try scrapyard & ebay unless anyone knows where I could get a cheap one in Tameside area. 51plate multispace. Cheers

I have a van mirror on the drivers side of my berlingo, got it from ebay and wasn't too difficult to fit either.

Have a look at 'demoncar.com' for replacement mirrors.

If the coloured trim panel is still serviceable it is possible to remove it carefully (it's held to the mirror back body by pegs into slots) cut off the pegs and glue it to the replacement plain black mirror. Black mirrors being cheaper and easier to obtain than colour matched ones.
