How do I go about getting full time power to the cigar lighter?
Can I just swop the fuse for the ,unused, slot next to it?

Not unless you wire it straight to the battery.

I have thought about wiring mine up all the time with an 'auto/on' two way switch so I can have it either way, erm, yes I could use a blank switch for on. I might have a look this weekend.

I've gone from the battery, bit of a bugger finding a route for the cable though.
