Central locking not working

Hi all, glad I found this forum - it's really useful! But sorry if I am new!

I recently bought an 02 Multispace 1.9D. Apart from a fan problem... I am trying to fix a central locking issue.

None of the buttons on the keyfob do anything... no lights flash and nothing locks/unlocks. When I manually lock/unlock the drivers door with the key it doesn't operate any other locks apart from the lock with the key in.

This sort of says it's more than the fob or receiver? I'm not that bothered about the remote working, but would be nice if all the doors would unlock/lock together.

Any ideas appreciated?

I have an 02 2.0hdi it sounds similar to mine. it kept unlocking itself, at first just in the hot weather, then would not remote lock at all I believe it is down to the microswitch that is fitted in the door locks, having a "hissy fit" (breaking) so the central locking thinks a door is not shut so will not lock I removed fuse 21 (locking system) on the advice of an independant Citroen specialist and reverted to good old fahioned "mandraulic" locking. I will get round to fixing it one day. Check if yours has had the fuse removed cos it sounds like the central locking has no power.

Hi, when you open/lock the drivers door with the key it should unlock / lock the other doors.
If it's not check fuse "A" in the fuse box under the steering wheel.
Another test is to sit in the car and press down the drivers door lock button. Listen and see if you can hear any relays clicking in the fuse box. (Bsi)
