Hi Guy's..
I've just brought a 2002 (52) berlingo and it has come with 2 keys (none remote)
If I lick the drivers door or passangers door with the key there is no remote locking.
My question is: should it have central locking? if so, how easy is it to buy a new key (with remote) and program (I have the lexia with the software).
If it dosn't have central locking: how easy is it to retro fit?
Many thanks in advance..
ASH

I just bought a 2002 '02 Berlingo 1.9 D and it doesn't have central locking, in fact it doesn't have any locking at all at the moment! (see my thread below yours).
Personally I prefer to have manual locking, manual window winders, etc.
There are many posts here from owners with central locking problems...

It depends on the model if you have remote locking or not , but there are after market kits available on Ebay which I looked at for mine but decided not to bother.
I don't think licking it will help , well not on the drivers door anyway

What if, say, Mariella Frostrup had brushed languorously past said door?
I would think the C/L just needs configuring in the BSI - assuming the doors have correct locks and the harness is there.
