com2000 horn clock spring permanent repair - FIXED
#1
As I promised real permanent fix for dreadful horn failure.
This is diy how to repair horn clock spring without buying new com2000.
And permanent fix so problem will not occur next time.

Fix is real easy. Find where wire is broken. Replace broken wire.
Immobilize com2000 wheel so it will not brake another wire.
It has passed over 2 months since this fix and everything is working ok.
I had to be sure it is the real fix before i go public  Wink

Remove com2000 from car:
http://www.berlingoforum.co.uk/thread-9.html    and  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=laFmvp8YGE8

Please obey safety rules for removing airbag!

Next find where wire is broken. It will always be where wires come out from com2000.
Cut the wire and solder new pair of wires. I used wires form IDE computer cable.
They are flexible and easy to solder. Put over heat shrink tube for protection.
In this picture you can see hot glue residue. It was first time attempts to fix the problem.

In these pictures check continuity of wires trough clock spring.

And now behold , the real fix !
Immobilize the plastic wheel from clock sprint casing to wheel drive
with the help of ice cream popsicle

So that is the real problem. There is 3-5 mm play from clock spring
casing to wheal drive base. That 3-5 mm play happens when you turn
wheel left and right and it bends wires and over and over again until wires
finally brakes down. When we immobilize that play there will be no broken
wires any more  Tongue
