Engine oil capacities: Berlingo M59 (Mk2)

1. Petrol vehicle

TU1JP - 1124cm3(HFX) 3L
TU3JP - 1360cm3(KFW) 3L
TU5JP4 - 1587cm3(NFU) 3,25L

2. Diesel vehicle

DW8B - 1868cm3(WJY) 4,50L
DW10TD - 1997cm3(RHY) 4,50L
DV6ATED4 - 1398cm3(9HX) 3,75L

3. Draining of the engine lubrication circuit by gravity
Place the vehicle on horizontal ground (with the maximum height position selected for vehicles with hydropneumatic suspension).
The engine should be hot (oil temperature 80 °C).
Drain the oil sump by gravity.
Remove the oil cartridge (time for draining and drip-drip = around 15 minutes).
Refit the plug with a new seal.
Fit a new oil cartridge.
Fill the engine with oil (see oil capacity cable).
Start the engine in order to fill the oil cartridge.
Stop the engine (allow to stabilise for 5 minutes).
URGENT : Always check the oil level using the dipstick.
4. Draining of the engine lubrication circuit by suction
Place the vehicle on horizontal ground (with the maximum height position selected for vehicles with hydropneumatic suspension).
The engine should be hot (oil temperature 80 °C).
Draw out the oil from the sump via the manual dipstick tube.
Remove the oil cartridge.
Maintain the oil suction in the sump (approx. 5 minutes).
Fit a new oil cartridge.
Fill the engine with oil (see oil capacity cable).
Start the engine in order to fill the oil cartridge.
Stop the engine (allow to stabilise for 5 minutes).
CAUTION : Take away the suction can before starting the engine.
URGENT : Always check the oil level using the dipstick.
