Cabin Fan control on the fritz ...
#1
Hi All
I am the owner of a beloved 1.9D (03) with c. 140,00 on the clock.

Current issue is that fan control on the central cabin console seems to be pretty u/s in that the fan is more or less on all the time (to the max) but with ability to tweak it down slightly.
The traction on the dial action does seem to be less +ve of late and I am thinking I have a wear issue with the mechanism which is giving me the always on effect .....

I have had (and fixed ) the blower motor resistor/pcb at 100k and I think this is different...

Anyone got a clue or seen (fixed) this before ??

Cheers
D
