speedo not fixed after new sensor:brickwall:
Well that was a waste of time after 1 day back to as was before wandering all over + jerky throttle response. I noticed that when at a standstill & the speedo needle moving if I increased the rev's the speedo followed. Also as mentioned by modmytop (previous thread), when the speedo went dead got better throttle response and no jerkiness. I was thinking if I could disable the speedo & use a gps type for around £50.00 that may solve things. Can anyone shed any more light on this? I hate electrical problems :censored::censored:
If it was the speedo itself (rather than the sender) would it cause the jerkiness in throttle response as the needle sweeps up & down?
It was also mentioned to me that the throttle potentiometer cause problems similar is that linked in with the speedo reading as well?
Can anyone help please ? or is time for it to be claimed by the Romney Marsh triangle:whistle:
