Re-mapping HDi75 to Hdi90
#1
From reading various threads this seems a possibility, but in layman's terms, what is involved? Who would render this service? Should the operation be successful, would there be any 'physical' evidence of the change?

It's a remap of the ECU at a garage work shop that specialise in remap's there will be more power and get up and go good mpg no physical evidence so if you have a service at a Citroen garage they will not be able to tell

Just thinking as mapping sounds like the dream, why don't factorys just not set the cars to best as ? so we dont have to remap.
Is there no down side to it all at ?? car insure going up or blown engines etc ?
Why don't we all do it ?
Working on the pro and cons or it.

The hdi76 and hdi90 engines are identical inevery way except for the ecu map.

Cost (some people are also happy with less power)

No downsides only upsides.
